Unknown Keys?!

If I had a dollar (rampant inflation) for every time I saw something like this during our downsizing sessions with very organized clients, I’d have at least a week’s worth of groceries. This particular person is very meticulous and organized in her own home. Nothing is crowded, drawers and cabinets have a lot of space and things live exactly where she needs them to. We are project managing this family’s activity for a move to the west coat to be close to the first grandchild, expected very soon. As always, the process to downsize, sort, organize, pack, liaise with movers, provide junk haul services, and a final cleaning crew (in prep for listing) is always interesting. And these “unknown keys” were exactly that. I have questions: if the keys are unknown, why hold on to them? The answer: We might need them. Can’t argue with that, now can I? I mean, I could, but no one is paying their project manager/vendor to argue; especially when it’s a tiny little item. She won. I let her keep the keys. #PickAndChooseYourBattles.
